본 취약점은 해당 시스템의 매우 민감한 정보(파일구조)를 노출시킨다.

본 취약점은 unix계열을 제외한 운영체제 상에 탑재된 Apache2.0.39 이하 버전에서 발견되는 취약점이다.
(CYGWIN을 이용하여 컴파일 된 아파치에서 나타난다.)
Apache가 특정 코드를 실행시키는 도중 오류가 발생하는 경우, 해당 스크립트의 절대 경로를 노출시키는 취약점을 가지고 있다.
본 취약점은 unix계열을 제외한 운영체제 상에 탑재된 Apache2.0.39 이하 버전에서 발견되는 취약점이다.

Apache 설정파일 중 하나인 httpd.conf파일에 다음의 한줄을 추가하는 것만으로 본 취약점을 보완할 수 있다.
단, 'Alias' 또는 'Redirect' 옵션이 최초로 명기된 라인보다 상단에 추가하여야 한다.

Apache 2.0.40버전 이후로는 본 취약점이 수정되어 배포되고 있다.
