proftp 실행 관련...

최근에 리눅스를 시작한 초보입니다.

페도라 코어 5 버젼이고요

ftp서버를 구축할 요량으로 기본으로 깔려있는 vsftp 를 지우고

proftp를 깔았습니다.( proftpd-1.2.10-1.fc1.i386.rpm )

책에서는 1.2.7-1 rpm버젼으로 설명이 되어있고

 rpm도 파일이 3개로 나누어져있다고 나오는데

proftpd-1.2.7-1.i386.rpm (본체패키지)

proftpd-inetd-1.2.7-1.i386.rpm (inetd방식으로 운영하기 위한 패키지)

proftpd-standalone-1.2.7-1.i386.rpm (스탠드얼론 방식으로 운영하기 위한 패키지)

제가 www.proftp.org 사이트에 가보니까 스탠드얼론 패키지는 없고

아무리 봐도 본체패키지와 inetd 패키지 밖에 없더군요

그래서 그냥 버젼업되면서 본체하고 스탠드얼론패키지가 합쳐졌겠거니 하고

본체  proftpd-1.2.10-1.fc1.i386.rpm  만 깔았습니다.

그리고 책에 나와있는대로 /etc/proftpd.conf 파일 편집해서 저장하고

/etc/rc.d/init.d/proftpd start 했는데 [실패] 라고 뜹니다. restart, stop도 마찬가지이구요.
