[질문]ASUS P4P800 내장 랜카드 드라이버 설치 문의드립니다.

안녕하세요.

ASUS P4P800 메인보드에 내장되어 있는 랜카드의 드라이버를 RedHat Linux 9에 설치하려고 하는데 잘 되지 않습니다.

ASUS 홈페이지에서 리눅스용 드라이버를 다운받은 후 Readme대로 다음과 같이 실행했습니다.

Loading the driver
------------------

1) Make sure that the kernel source is installed in /usr/src/linux
   or /usr/src/linux-2.4.

2) Copy the file /Linux/3c2000.tar.gz from the 3Com driver CD to
   your hard drive.

3) Change to the directory containing 3c2000.tar.gz

4) Type 'tar zxvf 3c2000.tar.gz'

5) Type 'cd 3c2000'

Note: on SuSE systems since 7.1, you will have to execute the
following commands before running make:

cp /boot/vmlinuz.version.h /usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h
cp /boot/vmlinuz.autoconf.h /usr/src/linux/include/linux/autoconf.h

6) Type 'make load' to load the driver.

Alternatively, you may type the following to load the driver:

 insmod 3c2000.o

그러나 랜카드가 잡히지 않고 인터넷이 되지 않는군요.

어떤 분께서 http://www.syskonnect.com/syskonnect/support/driver/htm/sk98lin.htm에서 커널 패치를 하라고 하셨는데 RedHat Linux 9 사용자는 이 중에서 어떤 파일을 다운받아서 패치를 해줘야 하는지 궁금합니다.
