php 4.4.4 에서 php 5.2.17로 업데이트 하려는데요. configure 에러가 나서요..

 현재 php 4.4.4 가 설치되어 있는데 php 5.2.17로 버전업을 하려고 합니다.

와 같이 configure 를 설정 하였는데요.
(기존 설치된 phpinfo() 에 있는 configure command 를 다 입력하였습니다.)

configure: error: GD build test failed. Please check the config.log for details.

가 나더라구요..
음.. 이곳 저곳 뒤져 보긴 하였지만 확실한 답이 안나오네요.ㅠ 고수님들 이럴땐 어떻게 수정을 하여야 하나요??
