zmore로 압축파일의 내용확인 도중에 특정 문자 검색하기
more명령어로 일반파일의 내용을 확인하는 도중에 특정문자를 검색하는 방법이 있습니다.
zmore명령어로 압축파일의 내용을 확인하는 도중에도 특정문자를 검색하는 방법은 more명령어에서 사용하는 방법과 동일합니다.
즉 zmore로 압축파일의 내용을 확인하는 도중에 특정문자를 찾고자 한다면 “/검색할문자열”과 같이 사용하시면 됩니다.
zmore에서 문자검색방법 : /검색할문자열
다음 예는 gzip으로 압축된 readme.gz파일을 zmore명령어로 내용을 확인하는 과정에서 “Apache”라는 문자열을 검색하기 위하여 “/License”를 입력한 것입니다.

또한 이 상태에서 다음 License라는 문자열을 계속검색하고자 한다면 n을 입력하면 됩니다.
즉 more명령어에서도 다음 문자열 검색을 할 수 있는 키가 n이듯이 zmore명령어에서도 다음검색할 문자를 찾기 위하여 n을 입력합니다.
이번 장의예에서 보셨듯이 zmore명령어는 more명령어의 사용방법과 거의 동일함을 알 수 있습니다.
