압축파일 내용을 한화면단위로 확인하는 zmore

 

 

 

 

 

zmore는 gzip압축파일을 대상으로 more명령어를 실행시켜주는 명령어입니다.

 

 

 

 즉 gzip으로 압축된 파일을 대상으로 파일의 내용을 한 화면씩 확인하는 명령어입니다.

 

 

 

 그리고 zmore명령어의 사용법은 일반적인 more명령어와 유사하므로 more명령어와 함께 익혀두시기 바랍니다.

 

 

 

 

 

zgrep명령어가 gzip으로 압축된 압축파일을 대상으로 문자열을 검색하는 것과 같이 zmore는 gzip으로 압축된 압축파일을 대상으로 그 내용을 확인하는 명령어라고 할 수 있습니다.

 

 

 

 그리고 zgrep이 grep명령어와 거의 같은 방식으로 사용할 수 있는 것과 같이 zmore 또는 more명령어 사용법과 거의 동일하다는 얘기입니다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

명령어위치 :  /usr/bin/zmore

 

사용형식   :  zmore [압축파일명 ...  ]

 

 

말씀드린바와 같이 zmore명령어는 일반적인 more명령어와 마찬가지로 파일의 내용을 한 화면단위로 확인하는 명령어입니다.

 

 

 

 단 zmore명령어는 gzip으로 압축된 파일을 대상으로 그 내용을 확인한다는 것이 more명령어와 다를 뿐입니다.

 

 

 

 

 

아래의 예를 보시면 readme라는 파일을 gzip으로 압축한 readme.gz파일이 있습니다.

 

 

 

  그리고 zmore명령어로 readme.gz파일의 내용을 한 화면단위로 확인하기 위하여 “zmore readme.gz”명령어를 실행한 것입니다.

more명령어와 마찬가지로 zmore실행모드에서 다음 페이지로 넘어가려면 Spacebar를 누르면 됩니다.

 

 

 

 그리고 zmore실행상태에서 빠져나오려면 키보드에서 q를 입력하면 됩니다.
